Kasdon Electronics is doing the earth a favour by being an Energy saver!

Kasdon Electronics Limited has taken a significant step in contributing towards the 2050 net-zero target.

Recently installing renewable energy for its entire factory in Willenhall will enable the business to move towards a greener and cleaner way of using energy.

By installing solar panels on its roof, it will be self-generating approximately 100,000kWh annually, which represents 72% of the energy needed to support its daily operations and reduce its dependence from the Grid. With the system having a useable life expectancy of some 20 years and is expected to recover the capital outlay in approx. 4 years.

Kasdon Electronics can look forward to the following benefits:

  1. 40% reduction in electricity invoices
  2. Reduced CO2 emissions of 68.5 tonnes per annum
  3. Generate revenue stream from exporting energy back to the grid

The Installation was done in partnership with GL Electrical Ltd  www.gl-electrical.co.uk who were able to advise on the project suitability and design and install the full system.

Kasdon Electronics are proud to be a UK leading Contract Electronics Manufacturing who are leading the Greener way within the Electronics sector.
