Kasdon further investment for 2016

On the back of the new pick and place machines, new solder paste printers and new multi stage curing ovens, Kasdon are looking to invest in the latest technology Automatic Optical Inspection equipment to increase the capacity of the existing AOI area.

These proposed machines are made in the UK by DCB automation. They use reflective light technology to check not just correct components, correctly placed but also, the integrity of the soldered joint.

Already in use at Kasdon, we have found them to be very reliable throwing up the smallest number of pseudo faults hence giving the operator confidence in the product.

An additional 2 machines will bring the total up to 5 which matches with the SMT output.
